House Extensions Melbourne

Looking to build on your current home and transform it into a bigger and better version? Over the years, Kwaliteit Constructions has specialised in house extensions. We’ve helped people across Melbourne increase the size, value and health of their homes without having to leave the community they love.

From adding a first floor extension, to increasing the footprint of your ground floor home, extensions can be complex projects. We know that with existing structures, unexpected issues often arise once you start to peel back the surface. That’s why we take on the project management and work closely with the architect to take all the stress out of your extension and bring your vision to life.

We do much more than just get on the tools. We organise materials, hire subcontractors, and ensure the budget and deadlines are being maintained at every stage of the build. Creating a high quality home that seamlessly connects the old with the new is the cherry on top of completing a project.

Previous House Extension Projects

Kneen St, Fitzroy North

Build: First floor extension to existing house

Architect: Taylor Reynolds Architects

Project Overview: This project had multiple stand out design features, including sharp pitches, circular showers, and custom shaped skylights in the unique spaces.

The bathroom design created a rare opportunity for a circular shower with a skylight above that looks straight into the stars.

Glenmorgan Project

Glenmorgan St, Brunswick East

Build: Ground floor extension to existing house

Architect: Taylor Reynolds Architects

Project Overview: This home addition allowed us to keep the beautiful existing heritage facade while adding a modern twist to the rear of the home.

The feature of this build was the bold kitchen and marble selections in joinery that made the home extension stand out.
